Additional ICD codes, including secondary diagnoses and procedures, will now be pulled from the PTF (#45) file. A VPR listener will be attached to a new protocol event, DG PTF ICD PROCEDURE NOTIFIER, to monitor procedure code changes. 2. New properties are being added to the Encounter, Appointment, Diagnosis, Procedure, Family History, Physical Exam, and Orders containers. 3. A VPR listener will be attached to two Outpatient Pharmacy events that broadcast new and partial refills. 4. A check has been added to the EnteredAt property of the Medications container, to get the Parent Facility for INSTITUTION (#4) file entries that do not have a Station Number. 5. VPR previously used both the Print on Abnormal Report (#3) and Generate Abnormal Alert (#4) fields of the DIAGNOSTIC CODES (#78.3) file to determine whether or not to flag a radiology order as having abnormal results; CPRS only uses the latter, which often resulted in different order displays. This has been corrected to make VPR consistent with CPRS and only use the Generate Abnormal Alert field.
