This patch is being released as part of a combined build. Below is a list of all the applications involved in this effort along with their patch numbers: APPLICATION/VERSION PATCH --------------------------------------------------------------- CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING (GMRC) V. 3.0 GMRC*3*217 VIRTUAL PATIENT RECORD (VPR) V. 1.0 VPR*1*37 These patches are being released via a Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) multi-build distribution. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-23907 - IZGateway - Issues with Sending Facility Problem: -------- The facility 'EnteredAt' for appointments scheduled from certain test facilities are being retuned inaccurately. Resolution: ----------- 'EnteredAt' field in the VPR APPOINTMENT entity entry of the ENTITY (#1.5) File has been changed to return the institution station of the clinic's division (#3.5) field from the clinic's HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) File, rather than the institution (#3) field from the clinic's HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) File. The institution field value (#3) in the HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) File has marked 'been deprecated and should no longer be used'. 2. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-21967 - Missing Consult comments in AMPL (INC39352966) Problem: -------- Missing Consult comments in Advanced Medication Platform (AMPL). Resolution: ----------- An 'AVPR' MUMPS cross reference has been added to the CONSULT REQUESTS (#123) file, LAST ACTION TAKEN (#9) field, to update the Summary Document Architecture (SDA) when a consult has comment(s) added to it. This is implemented in GMRC*3*217, which is why this patch requires it. 3. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-20934 - Coverage data, missing expiration date and missing insurance plans (INC26141461) Problem: -------- Production AMPL - Coverage data FHIR calls missing expiration date and missing insurance plans. Resolution: ----------- Output logic for plan expiration dates has been altered to return an empty string, a null value, in cases where the VistA APIs return no value at all. This will result in the Expiration Date always being populated. 4. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-22013 - AMPL Prod bug: "Undefined" is displaying under "Non-Verified" header on Inpatient med list on coversheet - station 534 (INC39812503). Also JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-22875 - Another Inpatient Non-Verified incorrect display (INC3983882). Problem: -------- Identified an issue at station 534 & 612 where an "Undefined" entry is being displayed under the "non verified" header in the inpatient Med list on the coversheet for a specific patient. Resolution: ----------- Output logic for the Medication VAStatus field has been updated for certain renewed Inpatient orders so an appropriate VAStatus will always be returned. In those rare cases where the field is nill VPR will return "NO STATUS". 5. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-25794 - VWSL MedRec: SDA PharmacyStatus Not Always Populating (INC40566966) Problem: -------- During testing with the MedRec partner application, it was found that the SDA field Medications.PharmacyStatus was not always populated for Inpatient Medications. This field is used by the VWSL integration to provide the calling application with the current medication status. Resolution: ----------- Output logic for the Medication PharmacyStatus has been updated to return "No Status" in the rare inpatient cases where the Pharmacy VistA APIs return a null value. This will result in PharmacyStatus always being populated. 6. JIRA Task Id: VDIFEP-29379 - Update Vitals UCUM value [in_us] to [in_i] Problem: -------- The Vitals current used Unified Code for Units of Measure (UCUM) value [in_us] is an older use for unit of measurement. Resolution: ----------- The SDA Observation container for vitals will now be sent the international customary unit, [in_i], as the unit of measure for inch or centimeters. Test Sites: ----------- Central Texas, Temple TX * Minneapolis MN San Diego CA * Sites denoted by a "*" were evaluated in a cooperative arrangement between the sites, the Consolidated Initial Operating Capacity (CIOC) team and the project team. When prompted for a device 'DEVICE: HOME//', it is recommended to enter 'Q' and follow the prompts for an output device and a near future time to task the install. (ex.) DEVICE: HOME// qUEUE TO PRINT ON DEVICE: HOME// P-MESS P-MESSAGE-HFS HFS FILE => MESSAGE Subject: VPR_1_37 Installation Select one of the following: M Me P Postmaster From whom: Me// Send mail to: // Select basket to send to: IN// And Send to: Request Start Time: Jul 30, 2026@11:44:23// T@11:50 (JUL 30, 2026@11:50:00) Post-Installation Instructions: A post-installation process will task off a CTP predictor report for the domains affected by patch VPR*1*37. Note: This task will be scheduled to run after 10:00pm local time. Separate Mailman messages will be generated to the installer and the VPR team after the CTP predictor has completed. The installer may disregard the message. If, as recommended, queuing to a mailman message or other device was selected from the device prompt in step D(v.) the installer will see a message or output detailing the installation progress. This message or output should closely resemble the information captured by KIDS in the Install file entry for this patch and can be reviewed there if desired.
