This extract was changed in patch VPR*1*7 to use the Orders File (#100) to find completed Lab orders, then extract the results tied to each, instead of first pulling data from the Lab Service and attempting to organize the results by the order that requested them. The changes in patch VPR*1*7 did not fully account for splitting an order across multiple accessions, so some results were omitted from the payload. The date range search also changed from working off the Collection Time to the Date Released of the order, due to the available indices on the Orders file. Both of these issues have been corrected in this patch. Backout and Rollback Procedure: ------------------------------- During the VistA Installation Procedure of the KIDS build, the installer should use the 'Backup a Transport Global' action (step 3a in the Installations Instructions below). If rollback/backout is required, the installer can use the MailMan message to restore routines that were saved prior to installing the patch. Patch Installation: Pre-Installation Instructions: ------------------------------ This patch may be installed with users on the system although it is recommended that it be installed during non-peak hours to minimize potential disruption to users. This patch should take less than 1 minute to install. NOTE: This patch was created with VA FileMan 22.2, so please ensure the target system has also been upgraded to this version, otherwise installation will fail. Installation Instructions: -------------------------- 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch. 2. Choose the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 3. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter VPR*1.0*11. a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4.
