WEBBMS-3974 - New 'Community Care Facility' field within facility PPBPL record Request: -------- BMS users need a standardized source of Community Care facilities whenever adding or editing veterans in Community Care to a VAMC Patient Pending Bed Placement List (PPBPL). Solution: --------- A searchable 'Community Care Facility' drop-down field located within the ADD/EDIT Patients Pending Bed Placement screen has been added. This field will be visible whenever the Community Care view ("Did the transfer request or completed transfer originate from the community?") is set to 'Yes'. 2. WEBBMS-4325 - New 'Bed Type' field within facility PPBPL record Request: -------- BMS users need the ability to specify a specific bed type when choosing 'No Bed Available' from the Reasons Using Community Care drop-down menu. Solution: --------- The PPBPL has been enhanced to add a required 'Bed Type' field in the add/edit patient screen, which displays when 'No Bed Available' is chosen from the Reasons Using Community Care drop-down menu. 3. WEBBMS-4437 - New columns within the PPBP by Date Range Report Request: -------- BMS users need the ability to report on the new 'Community Care Facility' and 'Bed Type' PPBPL fields. Solution: --------- The Facility level PPBP by Date Range report (Community Care View) has been enhanced by adding additional Community Care Facility Name and Bed Type columns. 4. WEBBMS-4525 - STS Web Call Optimizations Request: -------- Secure Token Service (STS) web calls for a refreshed token do not need to be made on every data call. Solution: --------- Implement a date check in BMS to only make a call for a refreshed token if the last token retrieval was greater than 10 minutes before. Also implement a 10 minute timeout on the HTTP service call. 5. WEBBMS-4634 - CLC column on PPBPL Standard View incorrectly displays True/False Problem: -------- The CLC column on the Standard View of the PPBPL was incorrectly updated to display as True/False instead of Yes/No. Solution: --------- The CLC column on the Standard View of the PPBPL will now display correctly as either Yes or No. 6. WEBBMS-3660 - Community Care Sites Configuration screen WEBBMS-3522 - Community Care Tracking List Favorites Menu for non-VA facilities Request: -------- BMS site admins supporting Community Care need the ability to search for and view Community Care facility records. BMS site admins supporting Community Care need a way to create local lists of nearby Community Care facilities for use when adding or updating patients in either the CCTL or PPBPL. Solution: --------- A Community Care Sites Configuration screen has been created for searching and displaying Community Care facilities. It can also be used for maintaining drop-down lists of favorite Community Care facilities. 7. WEBBMS-3521 - Screen for adding new Community Care facilities Request: ------- There is a need to add a new community facility record if the facility doesn't exist in the Provider Profile Management System (PPMS). Solution: ------- A new screen has been added to add Community Facilities. 8. WEBBMS-3853 - Maintenance of Community Care facility data Request: -------- BMS users working with Community Care Facilities need BMS kept up to Date with current facilities when creating a VAMC's Favorites list for CCTL or PPBPL. Solution: --------- A complete list of Community Care bed-related facilities will be updated in BMS via a Provider Profile Management System (PPMS)-based facility records API data extract. 9. WEBBMS-2667 - New User Roles to Support Community Care Patient Tracking Request: -------- To control access to the new Community Care Tracking List (CCTL) functionality, user roles are needed to grant specific users access to the CCTL. Solution: --------- Three new user roles have been created to support the CCTL functionality. 1. Community Care User role - this role will allow for displaying, adding, editing and removing (lit., "inactivating") CC tracking list records. 2. Community Care Transfer User role - this role will allow the movement of a veteran on a CC tracking list to the Patient Pending Bed Placement List (PPBPL). 3. Community Care Admin role - this role grants the ability to add or remove CC facilities on a favorites list seen when tying a CC facility record to a veteran in the community being tracked. 10. WEBBMS-3568 - Screen for listing Community Care patients WEBBMS-3702 - Use DevExpress for CCTL patient list screen WEBBMS-4729 - Display datetime on CCTL grid columns WEBBMS-3675 - Edit and Remove links on CCTL screen Request: -------- BMS Needs to start tracking patients currently outside of the VA care system on a "Community Care Tracking List" and possibly awaiting transfer into the VA system. Throughout BMS, grids called DevExpress grids are used to present tabular information in many places. CCTL would benefit from these features. BMS users need to know the specific time of day when patients receiving community care arrived at the community facility, were admitted to the community facility, and were discharged from the community facility. BMS users will need the ability to edit as well as Remove specific patients on the Community Care Tracking List. Solution: --------- A new screen has been added to track Veterans receiving care at non-VA facilities within BMS on a Community Care Tracking List (CCTL). This CCTL will have the options to Edit, Remove and Add to PPBPL, as well as display columns for Community Care Facility, Requested Bed Type and other fields from the CCTL record. The table on the /CommunityCare/Index page has been replaced with a DevExpress grid that renders the same underlying data. The date-related columns on the CCTL grid will display time values in a 12-hour (HH:MM AM/PM) format. An 'Actions' column within the Community Care Tracking List will have Edit and Remove links per patient. The Remove command will inactivate the record on the CCTL list. 11. WEBBMS-3569 - Screen for adding/editing individual Community Care patients WEBBMS-3627 - Require specific fields be filled in before saving Community Care patient record WEBBMS-4727 - Ability to input HH:MM time for CCTL date fields when creating CCTL record WEBBMS-4506 - Updated field labels and field ordering within CCTL add/edit patient screen WEBBMS-3644 - General search option within Community Facility drop-down field WEBBMS-4423 - Add Service Connected Percentage (SVC) to Community Care Tracking List Request: -------- A separate screen is needed in BMS for adding or editing patients receiving care in a non-VA community facility. In this screen there will be required fields for 'Community Arrival Date','Presenting Problem' and 'Admitted'. BMS users should be able to input the specific time of day when a patient arrived at, was admitted to, and was discharged from the community facility. BMS users working with veterans in Community Care need a way to search for and select a Community Care facility when adding or editing a CC patient. BMS users also need to know what the service disability percentage (SVC) is for a patient, in order to assign the right Bed Type within the record. Solution: --------- From the Community Care Tracking List there will be a "Add New Patient" Link which will allow a user to search and enter information about a veteran currently receiving care in the community. If the user skips a required field or if a required field is empty, the user receives an error and is prevented from saving their changes. There will be Hour (H) and Minute (M) drop-down menus for date-related Community Care Tracking List fields. Fields will be organized on the CCTL add/edit patient screen. A new Community Care Facility Search option will be available when clicking the Community Care Facility drop-down list. The "..." option will allow users to search and select a facility to apply to the veteran being tracked. The (CCTL) add/edit screen will display the SVC percentage value. 12. WEBBMS-3617 - Require a "Signed Declined to Transfer Form Status" radio button selection when BDOC Reason of 'Declined Transfer' is selected Request: -------- When a veteran refuses to transfer back to VA, administrators need to keep track of the status of the veteran's signed Refusal of Transfer to VA Medical Facility (10-8001) form. Possible values should be Notified, Requested, and Received. Solution: --------- A new selection is presented whenever the user selects "Declined Transfer" for the BDOC reason. If the user tries to Add or Save the CCTL record without choosing a value the user will see an error message that indicates that a selection must be made. 13. WEBBMS-3743 - Require 'Requested Bed Type' selection when 'No Beds Available' selected as BDOC Reason Request: -------- If a patient cannot be brought into the VA environment because no beds are available, then the CCTL entry must be marked with the type of bed requested. Solution: --------- The Requested Bed Type field will be a required entry whenever the BDOC Reason dropdown has been changed to "No Beds Available". 14. WEBBMS-3972 - Copying Facility and other data from CCTL record when adding patient to PPBPL WEBBMS-3969 - Display of record on CCTL when patient has been added to facility PPBPL Request: -------- Whenever a patient is transferred from the CCTL to the PPBPL, all relevant data should be added automatically to the PPBP. BMS users also need a way to display Community Care Tracking List patients who are no longer active/removed from the CCTL. Solution: --------- Upon selecting the Add to PPBPL link for a given patient on the CCTL, the following fields will be populated in the new PPBPL record: 1) PPBPL "Did the transfer request or completed transfer originate from the community?" will be set to 'Yes'. 2) PPBPL 'Community Care Facility' field will be populated with the same facility value as the CCTL record. 3) PPBPL 'Presenting Problem' field will be populated with the same free text as the CCTL record. 4) PPBPL 'Type of Bed/Ward' field will be populated with: 'TBD'. When accessing the Community Care Tracking List, the BMS user will see filterable columns for 'Is Active' (Yes/No) and 'Is On PPBPL' (Yes/No). They can also list out these inactive entries. 15. WEBBMS-3696 - Initial "MVP" Community Care Tracking List reports for BMS Request: -------- BMS users validating the Community Care Tracking need reports designed to analyze both CCTL data and PPBPL data. Solution: --------- Three new reports are now available from the Community Care Tracking List screen: 1) Date Difference Report- lists patients on the CCTL with various dates and time difference calculations. 2) Favorite Facilities List Report - lists the CC Facilities mapped to corresponding VA Facilities. 3) Waiting List Report - lists patient information from the CCTL. Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): N/A Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 16. HDSO-6381 - INC29692753 - PLEASE ROUTE TO BMS NATIONAL TEAM - BATCH ASSIGNMENT NOT FOCUSING ON WARD SELECTED Problem: -------- When selecting a specific ward from the BMS whiteboard's Batch Assign Staff screen, the list of beds does not filter accordingly. All ward beds will continue to display, so that if a staff member chooses the "Select All" checkbox, Staff assignment will incorrectly apply to all wards/beds. In addition, the tooltip no longer displays when hovering over the whiteboard's Batch Assign Staff button. Also, the Batch Assign Staff button could get misaligned for kiosks using a URL with whiteboard parameters included. Resolution: ---------- When selecting a specific ward from the BMS whiteboard's Batch Assign Staff screen, the list of beds is correctly filtered. In addition, a tooltip now displays when hovering over the whiteboard's Batch Assign Staff button, and the Batch Assign Staff button will be correctly aligned on top of the Staff column, for kiosks utilizing a parameterized URL.
