HDSO-8191 - Patient not removed from PPBPL when EDIS Disposition to Admit done after VistA admission - EDIS patients will now be removed from the PPBPL regardless of whether or not the Disposition to Admit action in EDIS is completed before or after the Admission through VistA. Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): N/A Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 3. HDSO-4700 - BMS/508: WCAG 1.3.1 - Information, structure, and relationships conveyed through presentation cannot be understood (programmatically determined) Problem: -------- The table structure cannot be understood by assistive technology, when viewing a BMS home page (e.g. Facility Home, VISN Home, etc.) and navigating past headers. The assistive technology reads "table with 3 columns and 1 rows Column 1" for items that should not be read. Resolution: ---------- Across the BMS application, the table structure role on views/screens has been updated so that screen readers can read information in a meaningful way. For example, on the Community Care Tracking List, the screen reader now reads the CCTL header and then moves straight to the "Add New Patient" link instead of "table with 3 columns and 1 rows Column 1". 4. HDSO-7590 - BMS/508: WCAG 1.3.1 - On the Community Care Tracking List, the screen reader user does not hear row headers while navigating using arrow keys. Problem: -------- Table row headers cannot be understood by the user of assistive technology. It occurs for example on the Community Care Tracking List home page, when the screen reader does not pronounce row headers as the user navigates with arrow keys across the table. Resolution: ---------- All BMS tables/grids have been updated so that column headers can be read by assistive technology. On the Community Care Tracking List table, the end user will hear column headers pronounced correctly. Test Sites: ----------- Clement J.
