Description:

 Direct Secure Messaging (DSM) Release 3.2.0 integrates with Cerner HISP 
 for sending and receiving messages. Development created an on/off switch
 in the Application Management menu option to toggle from DSM Legacy to
 Cerner HISP (once Cerner receives their ATO approval). Also developed is a
 mechanism to keep users out of the application (except application
 managers: Sustainment, Development and AITC teams) during scheduled
 maintenance activities. 
  
 Supporting technical documentation including the DSM System Design 
 Document, User Guide, Production Operation Manual (POM), and
 Install/Rollback Guide were updated to reflect the above-mentioned 
 application enhancements.  
  
 Test sites: N/A
  
 The upgraded software was successfully deployed to a centralized system at
 AITC at 9 pm on 08/06/2020.
  
 External Partner Test Sites: 
  
 Partner testing will be performed and verified to be working as expected
 as part of DSMEP3 Release 3.2.0
  
 Downstream Dependent System Testing:
  
 DSMEP3 Release 3.2.0 test plan's coverage includes joint testing efforts 
 with Cerner HISP.
