 The Patient-Centered Management Module (PCMM) Web application version 
 WEBP*1*5 will implement three performance enhancements detailed below.
 These enhancements are all for background processing, and will not change 
 the PCMM Web GUI.
  
 Configuration Changes:
 ======================
 RTC Ticket: 303721 - VISTA SYNC- the Vista Synchronization process 
 needs optimization to increase performance.  The synchronization was 
 being performed each time a change was made to a team.
  
 Solution: To optimize the processing of teams, instead of processing a 
 team each time a change occurs to the team, The Vista Synchronization 
 process will group multiple changes to a team into a single 
 transaction at a given interval based on the last date/time the team 
 was synchronized. 
  
  
 RTC Ticket: 301176 - Sites are reporting patients still pending and 
 have not switched to active, this is due to a long running query that 
 is being interrupted during auto-inactivation job 
  
 Solution: Optimize the query used to process the auto-inactivation job 
 to utilize indexes for processing the AI jobs. The utilization of the 
 indexing will reduce query running time and improve the processing
 reliability.
  
  
 RTC Ticket: 293434 - MVI A24 and A43 messages were creating duplicate 
 entries in the PCMMWeb database and could possibly cause data 
 corruption. 
  
 Solution: To prevent data corruption and the duplicate entries in the 
 PCMMWeb database, route A24 and A43 messages through hazel cast to 
 enforce serialization.

 The PCMM Web WEBP*1*5 is a centrally managed web-based application and 
 will be implemented and deployed to a central web server.  No installation
 is required by sites.
