Description:

 This is to inform you that VistaWeb is being decommissioned on  February 
 24, 2020.  The Joint Legacy Viewer (JLV)  is its replacement.
 JLV will be the web application for viewing VA, DoD, Veteran Health
 Information Exchange (VHIE) and Electronic Health Record Modernization
 (EHRM) clinical data.
  
 If any provider attempts to access VistaWeb after Feb 24th, 2020 they will
 be displayed a blank VistaWeb page which provides to them the JLV website
 hyperlink.
  
 Computerized Patient Record Systems (CPRS) Remote Data is still available
 as a backup for reviewing remote data. Local instances of VistA Read Only
 will not be affected by this decommissioning.
  
 STEPS A SITE SHOULD TAKE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
  
 1.  CPRS Clinical Coordinators should verify on the top of the CPRS window
 that the VistaWeb button has been renamed to JLV and properly set to point
 to the JLV website:   https://jlv.domain.ext/JLV
 [CPRS parameters:  ORWRP LEGACY VIEWER LABEL  and ORWRP VISTAWEB ADDRESS]
  
 2.  As soon as possible, CPRS Clinical Coordinators should use the
 GUI Tool Menu Items [ORW TOOL MENU ITEMS] to make sure that all instances
 of VistaWeb have been removed from all CPRS Tools menus to avoid providers
 being surprised that it no longer works after Feb 24th, 2020.
  
 3.  JLV training resources has been advertised and is also available in 
 TMS  as JLV TMS Training (VA 4545562)
  
 4.  Encourage staff to link their VistA accounts.  If their account is 
 not linked they will not be able to leverage Single Sign On to JLV
 which is expected to available in April.
