We think it is caused by the interaction of several things; 1. The switch to ECP for the Linux front end so a lock timeout of zero can sometimes return that the lock could not be gotten when there is not a real lock being held. 2. Users that don't do a normal sign-off, but just close the terminal emulator. 3. No date checking in the auto sign-on code. 4. A long Sign-on log so that the user's PC has been issued the IP address of a user that did not sign-off. Fix: A non-zero timeout on the lock has been added. The sign-on record must have been created within the last 8 hours. Added code so that if we have a workstation name (true for CPRS) and the Sign-on log has a workstation name they must match. Also, a better check for the IP address that only works for SSH connections. A change to the Sign-on log purge code to make sure the cross references are cleaned up correctly. The option Send Test Pattern to Terminal [XUTTEST] did not allow the output to be queued. Test: Run the option and try and queue the output. HD 439273 SSL Proxy causes delays in sign-on when Auto Sign-on trys to call back to the ClAgent. Use option 'Edit Site IP lockout' to enter the IP address of a SSL proxy or Terminal Server that should not be called by the Auto Sign-on code. ========================================================================= Installation: >>>Do not allow users to log in to the system during installation. >>>Users may remain on the system. >>>Allow KIDS to inhibit new sign-ons. >>>TaskMan does *not* need to be stopped. 1.
