Description:

 This patch contains changes to a single routine (XWBPRS) which provides
 the ability to monitor Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) 
 foreground coversheet load times by Capacity Management.
  
 Caution:  The modified routine is directly involved in the handling of 
 Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) from GUI applications using RPC Broker 
 connections.  There is the possibility that installation of this patch 
 will impact GUI applications that are currently running RPCs, resulting in
 EDITED errors.  It is recommended that the patch be installed without
 users on the system, or at least with minimal users (and with users being
 asked to sign-off or be inactive during the period in which the patch will
 be installed).

 EFFECT ON BLOOD BANK FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Patch XWB*1.1*57 contains 
 changes to a package referenced in VHA OI SEPG SOP 192-023 Review of 
 VISTA Patches for Effects on VISTA Blood Bank Software. This patch does 
 not alter or modify any VistA Blood Bank software design safeguards or 
 safety critical elements functions.
  
 RISK ANALYSIS: Changes made by patch XWB*1.1*57 have no effect on Blood 
 Bank software functionality, therefore RISK is none.
  
 Installation Instructions
 =========================
  
 1. Caution:  The modified routine is directly involved in the handling 
 of RPCs from GUI applications using RPC Broker connections. There is the 
 possibility that installation of this patch will impact GUI applications 
 that are currently running RPCs, resulting in EDITED errors. It is
 recommended that the patch be installed without users on the system, or at
 least with minimal users (and with users being asked to sign-off or be 
 inactive during the period in which the patch will be installed). 
  
 2. Use the 'INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE' option on the PackMan menu.  This
 option will load the Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS)
 distribution onto your system.
  
 3. You DO NOT need to stop TaskMan or the background filers.  
  
 4. The patch has now been loaded into a transport global on your system.  
 On the KIDS menu, select the 'Installation' menu and use the following
 options: 
  
  - Verify Checksums in Transport Global 
  - Print Transport Global
  - Compare Transport Global to Current System 
  - Backup a Transport Global
  
 5. Installation will take less than 1 minute.
  
    On the KIDS menu, under the 'Installation' menu, use the following
    option:
  
       Install Package(s)
  
       Select INSTALL NAME: 'XWB*1.1*57'

       Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//
