============================================================================= Run Date: NOV 16, 2020 Designation: YS*5.01*141 Package : YS - MENTAL HEALTH Priority: Mandatory Version : 5.01 SEQ #128 Status: Released Compliance Date: DEC 17, 2020 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)YS*5.01*130 <<= must be installed BEFORE `YS*5.01*141' Subject: MHA GUI AND WEB UPDATES Category: - Routine - Data Dictionary - Other Description: ============ The purpose of this patch is to add updates and correct defects in both the Mental Health Assistant (MHA) Windows executable and in the web-based MHA Patient Entry application. Additional instruments may now be assigned and entered via the MHA Patient Entry application. These are: Brief Battery for Health Improvement 2 BBHI-2 Couple Satisfaction Index CSI Couple Satisfaction Index - Partner CSI PARTNER Dysfunctional Beliefs and Attitudes About Sleep D.BAS Internal State Scale - Version 2 ISS-2 PHQ-Item 9 + Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale I9+C-SSRS Pain Interference Scale MPI-PAIN-INTRF Primary Care PTSD Screen PC-PTSD-5+I9 Patient Health Questionnaire-2 + Item9 PHQ-2+I9 Pain Outcomes Questionnaire POQ Patient Reported Outcome Measurement Information System PROMIS29 Patient Safety Screener 3 PSS-3 Status of Suicide Form SSF West Haven-Yale Multidimensional Pain Inventory WHYMPI The following fixes were made to the MHA Patient Entry web application: The Review Answers view will now appropriately show question identifiers that are longer than six characters. Instruction text for some instruments now displays more clearly. The following updates were made to instruments: Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test - Consumption (AUDC): The wording for question 3 now varies based on male/female. The cutoff score is now 5 for both. (Administrations previous to this patch will continue to use the former wording and scoring.) Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment - Alcohol Revised (CIWA-AR-): The explanatory wording for the scoring was updated to avoid overlapping scores. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment instruments (MOCA, MOCA ALT 1, and MOCA ALT 2) will begin asking if the user has completed training required by the vendor beginning December 2020. Patient Health Questionnaire Depression Scale (PHQ9): If less than two questions are skipped, the average score of the other questions is used to score. Skipping more than two questions results in an invalid administration. Patient Safety Screener 3 (PSS-3): Skip logic for question three has been updated to advance to the appropriate question. Quality of Life Inventory (QOLI): A scoring error that occurred when two questions in a row were skipped has been corrected. The Short Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (SWEMWBS) has been updated so that it no longer requires the YSP key, prompts for a progress note and can be used with a Reminder Dialog. The Suicide Behavior Report (SBR) has been deactivated. The following changes have been made in the MHA Windows executable: The "Append Comments" action (under Instrument Results Review) has been fixed so that comments are not limited to 8 characters. This limit is now roughly 60000 characters. The "Secure Desktop" capability has been re-enabled for sites that wish to use it. If Secure Desktop is installed, a "Secure Desktop Entry" button will appear in Instrument Administration. Sites may disable this by setting the YS MHA SECURE DESKTOP DISABLE parameter. The "Single Instrument Entry" capability has been updated to allow creation of a patient assignment for entry on a different device. When entering an administration, changing the patient in CPRS will no longer result in the new patient's name showing in the previous patient's progress note. Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 1. INC9624259 MH instrument results are loading incorrect patient results into notes. Problem: -------- See the patient safety issue listed above (HITPS - 7113). Resolution: ----------- The administration that was begun now retains the information about the patient that was selected when the administration was originally started. That information is now used to create the progress note. The post installation routine (YS141PST) may be deleted. The KIDS build adds a new file, MH TEST/SURVEY SPEC (#601.712), to the ^YTT global. This file will facilitate the migration of MHA from a Windows executable to a web application. The file will increase the size of the ^YTT global by about 4 MB. Pre-Installation Instructions: NOTE: When the KIDS build for this patch is installed, the MHA executable and an associated DLL should be updated at the same time. YS_MHA_A_XE10.DLL is replacing the file that was formerly distributed as YS_MHA_A_XE8.DLL. You may wish place this file in the appropriate location prior to the install, then update the YS MHA_A DLL NAME parameter after installing the KIDS build. This patch may be installed with users on the system although it is recommended that it be installed during non-peak hours to minimize potential disruption to users. This patch should take less than 5 minutes to install. There is no need to disable options. Installation Instructions: 1. Use the Load a Distribution option contained on the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu to load the Host file. When prompted to "Enter a Host File:" enter /srv/vista/patches/SOFTWARE/YS_501_141.KID 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, A. Select the Verify Checksums in Transport Global option to confirm the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter YS*5.01*141. B. Select the Backup a Transport Global option to create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. C. You may also elect to use the following options: i. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view the components of the KIDS build. ii. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all of the components of this patch, such as routines, DDs, templates, etc. D. Select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to install. i. If prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? NO//', answer NO. ii. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//', answer NO. iii. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//', NO. Post-Installation Instructions: After the KIDS build for YS*5.01*141 is installed, the existing MHA executable (1.0.3.80) should be replaced with the new MHA executable (1.0.3.86). Similarly, the existing Mental Health DLL should be replaced with the updated DLL (YS_MHA_A_XE10.dll). Edit the "YS MHA_A DLL NAME" parameter so that it matches the new DLL name. Since the cutoff for the AUDC instrument changes with this patch, locally developed Clinical Reminders and Reminder Dialogs may need to be updated. See the Installation Guide (YS_501_141_IG.pdf) for details.
