This can happen when administrations are saved at the same instant in time. The patch corrects a flaw in the locking logic. INC30400818 - MHA missing data fields - Mental Health Survey was done but the data is not stored in file MH Answers (#601.85) Problem: -------- When an instrument is completed from Clinical Reminders, the Dynamic Link Library (DLL) initially saves the answers to the MH CR Scratch file (#601.94). There is a bug in the locking mechanism when saving answers to the MH CR Scratch file, that can allow 2 processes to write to the same record number (IEN) and overwrite the existing entry. When the assessment is later copied to the MH Answers (#601.85) file, it can therefore be missing answer(s), if it was previously overwritten by another process. Similarly, when saving the score to the MH Results (#601.92) file, two processes can try to write to the same IEN, and the second one will get a FileMan error and cause the score to not get saved. Resolution: ----------- MHA was changed to lock the zero-node of the file to ensure that a new internal entry number can only be obtained by one process at a time. Test Sites: ----------- Clement J.
