The first is that sites were previously informed that NT 4.0 was an acceptable operating system for the VSS Kiosk. It has been found that NT 4.0 is not an acceptable operating system for the VSS Kiosk. The second purpose is to inform the sites of corrections to Voluntary Time Keeping documentation. These documents are part of the new Voluntary Service System migration. The following documents have been updated: VSS Site Installation Guide VSS Technical Guide VSS User Manual These documents were first referenced in patch ABSV*4.0*32. They are available from the ANONYMOUS.SOFTWARE directory at one of the IO Field Offices. DOCUMENTATION CHANGES ===================== VSS Site Installation Guide: Page 9; In the System Requirements section the reference to NT 4.0 has been removed. Page 15; In the Auto-Login Kiosk Setup Instruction chapter the following paragraph has been added: 'For the auto-login system to work properly, Windows 2000 operating system is required. The NT 4.0 operating system will not allow the left margins to view the first character on the meal ticket.' Pages 33-34; In the IRM Data Transmission Instructions section, step 3 'Check the following parameters' has been added. VSS Technical Guide: Pages 3-6; In the VSS Web Pages section a new column, Help File, has been added. Pages 49-58; The Database Diagrams section has been expanded.
