$TXT Created by KOPP,TERRY at MNTVLL.FO-ALBANY.MED.VA.GOV (KIDS) on Tuesday, 12/19/06 at 09:07 ============================================================================= Run Date: DEC 27, 2006 Designation: DG*5.3*583 Package : DG - REGISTRATION Priority: Mandatory Version : 5.3 SEQ #650 Status: Released Compliance Date: JAN 05, 2007 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)DG*5.3*659 <<= must be installed BEFORE `DG*5.3*583' Subject: ENABLE UPLOAD OF CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION Category: - Routine - Data Dictionary Description: ============ I. OVERVIEW This patch, DG*5.3*583, along with the Health Eligibility Center (HEC) patch IVMB*2.0*854, enables the upload of CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION from HEC to the associated CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.314) field in the Patient file (#2) on VistA. The upload will occur using the ORU~Z11 HL7 message sent from HEC to VistA. This patch will add data entry screening logic to limit input on the following fields from the PATIENT (#2) file: 1. CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION(#.314): to allow entering of a claim folder location only if it is an active facility and it has one of the following facility types in support of ESR: RO (Regional Office) RO&IC (Regional Office and Insurance Center) RO-OC (Regional Office - Outpatient Clinic) RPC (Record Processing Center) M&ROC (Medical and Regional Office Center) M&ROC (M&RO) (Medical and Regional Office Center) 2. PREFERRED FACILITY (#27.02): to allow entering of a preferred facility only if it is an active facility that has one of the following facility types: CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) HCS (Health Care System) HEALTHCARE (VA Boston Health Care System) M&ROC (Medical and Regional Office Center) MOC (Mobile Outpatient Clinic) MORC (Mobile Outreach Clinic) NETWORK (VA Healthcare Network Upstate NY) NHC (Nursing Home Care) OC (Outpatient Clinic - Independent) OCMC (Outpatient Clinic - Subordinate) OCS (Outpatient Clinic Substation) OPC (Out Patient Clinic) ORC (Outreach Clinic) RO-OC (Regional Office - Outpatient Clinic) SATELLITE (Satellite Outpatient Clinic) SOC (Satellite Outpatient Clinic) VAMC (VA Medical Center) VANPH (Neural Psychiatric Hospital) VA ROSEBERG (VA Roseburg Health Care System) During testing of this patch against the Enrollment System Redesign (ESR), an issue was found where an incorrect variable name was used for the error count when an HL7 error was detected. This issue was noted in four differing places in the routine DGENUPLA. This patch corrects the problem. A post-installation routine (DG53583P) that will run during the patch installation process will delete the 'ACFL2' cross reference on the *CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.312) field. This routine will also recompile the input templates DG LOAD EDIT SCREEN 7 and DVBHINQ UPDATE for the PATIENT file #2. II. ASSOCIATED REMEDY TICKETS & NEW SERVICE REQUESTS The following section lists the Remedy tickets and/or New Service Requests associated with this patch. 1. Associated Remedy Tickets: ----------------------------------------- NONE 2. Associated New Service Request(s): ----------------------------------------- NONE III. FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW The routines DGENELA, DGENELA1, and DGENUPLA are being changed to allow parsing and storage of the CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.314) field values received from the Health Eligibility Center (HEC). The routine DGREGDD changes are as follows: o Change the trigger logic code that sets the *CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.312) field based on the value of the CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.314) field to use standard Fileman and Kernel utilities. o Change to the code called by the input transform of the CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.314) field to only allow entry of facilities having the correct facility types as listed above. o Change to the code called by the input transform of the PREFERRED FACILITY (#27.02) field to only allow entry of facilities having the correct facility types as listed above. IV. TECHNICAL COMPONENTS The following section describes the technical components being exported with this patch. 1. The following FILES will be modified. a. PATIENT (#2) file Modified Field: ============== FIELD #: .312 FIELD NAME: *CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION MODIFICATION: Delete the trigger cross reference ACFL2 on field that sets CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION (#.314) b. PATIENT (#2) file Modified Field: ============== FIELD #: .314 FIELD NAME: CLAIM FOLDER LOCATION MODIFICATION: - Modify the trigger cross reference ACFL4 to call the new SET and KILL entrypoints in DGREGDD so the code adheres to Standards and Conventions Committee (SACC) standards for setting/killing Fileman fields. - Modify the screen/input transform to call new entrypoint CFLTF^DGREGDD to screen for only active institutions with valid facility types. - Modify the description to include the valid types. c. PATIENT (#2) file Modified Field: ============== FIELD #: 27.02 FIELD NAME: PREFERRED FACILITY MODIFICATION: - Modify the screen/input transform to call new entrypoint PFTF^DGREGDD to screen for only active medical facilities (institutions) with valid facility types. - Modify the description to include the valid types. 2. The following ROUTINE(s) will be added/modified. ROUTINE SUMMARY: ================ The following is a list of the routine(s) included in this patch.
