 This patch is a follow-on to Emergency patch DG*5.3*547 and will
 clean up the Name Components file #20 records which were affected
 by the release of DG*5.3*244 and the editing of certain patient names 
 through the functionality introduced by MPIF*1.0*28.

 Problem:
 --------
 When using the Print Scheduling Letters [SDPRLETTERS] option, the
 patient name components are obtained from the Name Components File #20
 record for that patient.  In some instances, the wrong patient's name
 prints. This occurs as a result of the problem explained in DG*5.3*547.
  
 Solution:
 ---------
 A routine will run as part of the installation of this patch that
 will compare the PATIENT NAME .01 field for each record in the
 Patient Name file #2 with the Name Component file #20 record
 it points to and update the latter if necessary.

 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

 Because the post-init routine DG53P543 must read thru the entire
 Patient File, the install may take a long time.  However, only a few
 records in the Name Component file #20 will need updating. 
 This patch can be installed during business hours, but because the 
 following options will be out of service during the installation 
 process it is suggested that it be queued for non-peak hours:
  
        DG REGISTRATION VIEW             View Registration Data 
        DG LOAD PATIENT DATA             Load/Edit Patient Data 
        DG REGISTER PATIENT              Register a Patient

 1. Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu. [Note:
    TEXT PRINT/DISPLAY option in the PackMan menu will display the
    patch text only].
      
 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS)
    menu, select the Installation menu.
  
 3. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options:
    (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter DG*5.3*543)
     
    a.  Backup a Transport Global - this option will create a backup
        message of any routines exported with the patch.  It will
        NOT backup any other changes such as DDs or templates.
    b.  Compare Transport Global to Current System  - this option
        will allow you to view all changes that will be made when
        the patch is installed.  It compares all components of the
        patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.).
    c.  Verify Checksums in Transport Global - this option will
        allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are
        in the transport global.
    d.  Print Transport Global - this option will allow you to view
        the components of the KIDS build.
     
 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package
    DG*5.3*543
     
 5. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install?
    YES//', respond NO
  
     
 6. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and
    Protocols? YES//', respond YES
  
    When prompted to select the options you would like to place out 
    of order, enter the following:
  
       DG REGISTRATION VIEW             View Registration Data 
       DG LOAD PATIENT DATA             Load/Edit Patient Data 
       DG REGISTER PATIENT              Register a Patient  
  
  
 POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
 ===============================
 1. When the install completes, please print the report of other
 records that may need attention, by executing the line tag
 PRTRPT^DG53P543.   This report is derived from the 
 ^XTMP("DG53P543" global. You may also wish to see/print the 
 install messages.
  
 2. The routine, DG53P543, should be retained for possible future use.
