Description:

  I.  FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
  
   This patch will correct two DSS Prosthetics reports which were not
   working correctly due to the addition and realignment of fields in the
   PROSTHETICS EXTRACT file (#727.826) which was part of the DSS FY 2001
   software release. The patch will allow current fiscal year data to be
   calculated and displayed correctly.
  
   1)  The Prosthetics (PRO) YTD Laboratory Report [ECX PRO LAB REPORT] was
       no longer printing values for the cost of transaction, lab labor
       cost, and lab material cost.
  
       This was reported in NOIS SDC-0201-61689.
  
  
   2)  The Prosthetics (PRO) Extract Audit Report [ECX PRO SOURCE AUDIT]
       was not printing single line item information within the report.
  
       This was reported in NOIS HUN-0201-20549 and NOIS NOL-0301-70167.

  III.  SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION RETRIEVAL
  
   This patch will be distributed in a Packman patch message through the 
   National Patch Module and should be obtained from there. 
   The KIDS build for this patch is:  ECX*3.0*36
  
   There are no documentation changes/updates included with this patch.
  
  
  IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  
   * This patch requires the following patches be installed:
     -  ECX*3.0*33
  
   * Installation of this patch may occur with all users on the system.
     Installation should take less than 5 minutes.
  
  
   Installation Steps:
   ===================
  
   1. Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu to unload
      the KIDS distribution included with this message.
  
   2. Review your mapped set.  If any of the routines listed in the
      ROUTINE SUMMARY section are mapped, they should be removed
      from the mapped set at this time.
  
   3. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select
      the Installation menu.
  
   4. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options
      (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter ECX*3.0*36):
  
      a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup
         message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not
         backup any other changes such as DD's or templates.
      b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will
         allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch
         is installed. It compares all components of this patch
         (routines, DD's, templates, etc.).
      c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow
         you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the
         transport global.
  
   5. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package ECX*3.0*36.
  
   6. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and
      Protocols? YES//', respond YES.  When prompted to select the options
      you would like to place out of order, enter the following:
     
      ECX PRO LAB REPORT         Prosthetics (PRO) YTD Laboratory Report
      ECX PRO SOURCE AUDIT       Prosthetics (PRO) Extract Audit
  
   7. If routines were unmapped as part of step 2, they should be returned
      to the mapped set once the installation has run to completion.
