This patch fixes that problem by correctly resetting the return destination and preventing applications from misrouting acknowledgements. The post-install routine will clear the IIV EC queue (going to the AAC) of messages that are meant for the HEC, as those HEC messages serve to block the queue, i.e., messages that should go to the AAC are unable to be transmitted. The post-install routine is deleted automatically upon completion. After this patch is installed, please advise the Patient Insurance supervisor or MCCR Coordinator at your facility that the IIV problem has been resolved and that they should review their IIV Statistical Report. If the QUEUED INQUIRIES is greater than twice the DAILY MAXIMUM HL7 MESSAGES parameter setting, they may need to request assistance thru NOIS. Otherwise, if comfortable with the existing IIV parameter settings, they should turn on the Batch Extracts making sure to answer YES when prompted for SUPPRESS BUFFER CREATION.
