Generally a quantity of 1 is all that is allowed for these codes. There are cases, however, when this quantity should not be limited to one. Therefore, there needs to be a field that will serve as a flag. The field being added is the .06 field. It will have a value of N if the quantity is to be restricted to only one and a value of Y if it allows a quantity of greater than one. A new menu option called IB EDIT E&M CODE QUANTITY FLAG will be added under the current menu option of IB SYSTEM DEFINITION MENU during installation. This will run a new input template called IB EDIT E&M CODE QUANTITY. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter IB*2.0*257) a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with the patch. It will NOT backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when the patch is installed. It compares all components of the patch (routines, DDs, templates, etc.) c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package IB*2.0*257. 5. When prompted "Want KIDS to rebuild menu trees upon completion of install?" YES// respond NO. The menu trees will rebuild when your scheduled XQBUILDTREEQUE task runs. 6. When prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? YES//" respond NO. 7.
