Subject: Identify allergy order problems

Description:
============

 Under certain circumstances, allergy data may not be properly sent to the
 allergy package, which may cause missed allergy related order checks on
 subsequent orders.
  
 The problem was identified and fixed in patch OR*3*173 (GUI v22).
  
 This patch consists of one single routine, ORY182.  This patch
 will identify allergy orders that were entered but were not passed
 to the allergy package.  In addition, this patch will identify any entry
 in the ORDER (#100) file that is missing its zero node.
  
 Upon installation of this patch, routine ORY182 will be queued to
 run in the background.  Upon completion, a mail message will be
 sent to previously identified individuals listing all patients who
 had allergy orders that were not correctly sent to the allergy package. 
 Also included in this message will be the internal entry numbers of 
 entries without a zero node.
  
 Upon receipt of this list, designated individuals will need to review
 the patient's chart to be sure that allergy information is correct
 and current for the specified patient.  If your listing contains ORDER 
 file entries without a zero node then these extraneous entries will need 
 to be cleaned up.  Clean up can be done by the local IRM staff or a NOIS
 can be logged for assistance.
  
 Upon receipt of the mail message, routine ORY182 can be deleted.

 The error in ORMBLDAL would be reported when CPRS attempted to send the 
 allergy order to the allergy file.  However, the actual allergy was never 
 stored in the allergy package.  The order did appear on the CPRS orders 
 view though, so it wasn't obvious that there was a problem.

 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

 This patch should be loaded during non-peak hours to minimize disruption
 to users.  Users may be on the system during installation. Installation
 will take less than 1 minute.  
  
 **NOTE: Routine ORY182 is queued to run in the background during the 
 installation of this patch.  You are prompted to enter names of recipients
 for the report that is produced by this routine. The report produced by
 this patch must be reviewed to make sure that patient allergy information
 is correct.  This routine will take quite a while to complete as it must
 look at all orders entered since January 1st, 1998.  The amount of time
 required to complete this process will vary by site depending on number of
 orders and available system resources.
  
 **NOTE: This patch may be queued.  However, if you queue the installation 
 of this patch then recipients for the report will not be prompted for and 
 the report will ONLY be sent to the installer.  The installer would then 
 be responsible for forwarding the report to the responsible people for 
 review.
  
 1.  Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu.
  
 2.  From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the
     Installation menu.
  
 3.  From this menu, you may elect to use the following options (when 
     prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter OR*3.0*182):
       a.  Backup a Transport Global
       b.  Compare Transport Global to Current System
       c.  Verify Checksums in Transport Global
  
 4.  Use the Install Package(s) options and select the package OR*3*182.
  
 5.  When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONS during install? YES//',
     respond "NO".
  
 6.  When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options and 
     Protocols? YES//', respond "NO".
  
 7.  Upon receipt of the report produced by this patch, routine ORY182 may 
     be deleted.
