Description:

 This patch corrects the problem of the PPP FOREIGN FACILITY XREF file
 (file 1020.2) not updating and the PPP NEW SSN file (file 1020.7) not
 purging. This patch will also update the file description for the data
 dictionary file, DIC(1020.2). An updated version of the technical
 manual for the package has been created as well.

 The old version of the routine being changes used VOL/UCI/NAMESPACE 
 for to set the TMP global.  The new version sets the TMP global where
 it is running.

 Problem:
 --------
 The Pharmacy Prescription Practices Daily Batch Routine [PPP BATCH]
 used to run a routine PPPBLD4, which added patients into the
 PPP Foreign Facility x-ref file (file 1020.2) if the patient had a visit to
 another facility on the MPD CD-rom disc. The routine also purged the entries
 from the PPP New SSN file (file 1020.7). With the release of patch 
 PPP*1.0*35, this routine was removed from the Pharmacy Prescription 
 Practices Daily Batch Routine [PPP BATCH]. Therefore, the PPP Foreign 
 Facility x-ref file (file 1020.2)was not being updated, and the New SSN file
 (file 1020.7) was not being purged. 
  
 Resolution:
 -----------
 The routine PPPBLD4 was modified and returned to the Pharmacy Prescription 
 Practices Daily Batch Routine [PPP BATCH]. It was modified to not look at 
 the MPD server but to instead look at the Treating Facility List file 
 (file 391.91) via an integration agreement (#2990) with the Registration
 package. Now the PPP Foreign Facility x-ref file (file 1020.2) will be 
 updated daily, and the PPP New SSN file (file 1020.7) will be purged daily.

 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

 This patch can be loaded with users in the system.  Installation time  
 will be less than 5 minutes.
   
  1.   Choose the PackMan message containing this patch and invoke the 
       INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option.  
  
  2.   (DSM for Open VMS sites only) Disable routine mapping on all systems
       for the routines listed in the Routine Summary.  
  
       NOTE:  If the routines included in this patch are not currently in 
       your mapped routine set, please skip this step.
  
  3.   Start up the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu 
       [XPD MAIN]: 
  
            Edits and Distribution ...

    Select Kernel Installation & Distribution System Option: INStallation

       a.  Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup
           message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not
           backup any other changes such as DD's or templates.
       b.  Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will
           allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch
           is installed. It compares all components of this patch
           (routines, DD's, templates, etc.).
       c.  Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow
           you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the
           transport global.
  
  5.   Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package PPP*1.0*38
  
       a. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the
          install? YES//', answer NO.
       b. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options and Menu 
          Options and Protocols? YES//', answer YES.
       c. When prompted 'Enter options you wish to mark as 'Out Of 
          Order':',enter the following options:

       d. When prompted 'Enter protocols you wish to mark as 'Out Of 
          Order':',press <return>.
  
  6.   (DSM for Open VMS sites only) Optional - Include the routines

       you wish to include the routines in your mapped set.
