MOU-1103-30266 FIM process no longer completes consult request Problem: -------- With version 1.0.2.1 of the FIM GUI installed, the ability to complete a consult has been lost. The new FIM still prompts for "do you wish to complete a consult with the note?", but the process no longer completes the consultation and no corresponding consult note is filed. Resolution: ----------- The problem was introduced while cleaning up local variable names in the GUI code during the development of FIM GUI version 1.0.2.1 in patch RMIM*1.0*1. The problem has been eliminated in version 1.0.3.1 of the FIM GUI. 2. MIW-1003-42147 TWO HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS APPEAR WHEN LINKING PROGRESS NOTE Problem: -------- With version 1.0.2.1 installed, two hospital admissions appear on the screen when linking a progress note to an admission for an inpatient. Resolution: ----------- Both admission and transfer movement records were being included in the list. This has been corrected in version 1.0.3.1 of the GUI. Installation should take less than 1 minute. 1. Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu. 2. Users ARE allowed to be on the system during the installation, but you should select a time when minimal number of users are on. 3. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) Menu, select the Installation menu. 4. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter RMIM*1.0*2): a. Backup a Transport Global. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System. c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global 5. You DO NOT need to stop TaskMan or the background filers. 6. Use the Install Packages option (when prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter RMIM*1.0*2). 7. When prompted "Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? Yes//", respond "NO". 8. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the INSTALL? YES//', respond "NO". 9. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? YES//', respond "NO". 10. If prompted 'Delay Install (Minutes): (0-60): 0//; respond "0". Client Side: ------------ 1. Make sure that there are no users running the Functional Independence Measurement executable (FIM.exe). 2. Retrieve and open the file RMIM_1_0_2.ZIP. 3. Extract the FIM.exe file to the folder where the existing Functional Independence Measurement executable is installed. Overwrite the existing FIM.exe file. 4. Following successful extraction of the executable, the RMIM_1_0_2.ZIP file may be deleted. Note: The server side of this patch updates VistA with the version number of the FIM executable and must be installed for the new executable to run properly.
