Description:

  This patch modifies the Scheduling option PRINT SCHEDULING LETTERS
  [SDPRLETTERS] to comply with the following:
  
  Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) 
  software will be enhanced to comply with Health Insurance Portability and 
  Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules for Confidential Communications 45 CFR 
  164.552 to accommodate a patient's request to receive confidential 
  communications at one alternative address or in person at the Department of 
  Veterans Affairs health care facility where the information is maintained. 
  VHA must comply with these requirements by April 2003. 
  
  
  FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
  ===================
  When a user selects option PRINT SCHEDULING LETTERS [SDPRLETTERS], the
  patient's address is printed on the letter.  If the patient has 
  requested that their current Scheduling/Appointment correspondence be sent 
  to a confidential address, then that confidential address will be printed
  on the letter.
  
   
  TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
  ==================
  Routine SDLT has been modified to check several values in the array returned
  from API ADD^VADPT.  Based on these values, the appropriate address will
  be printed on the Scheduling letter.

  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  ==========================
  This patch should be installed during non-peak hours, and can be
  installed with users on the system.  Installation will take less than
  5 minutes.  
   
  Note: The following patches are REQUIRED BUILDS for this KIDS 
        distribution.  KIDS will not allow the installation of this patch 
        without the prior installation of the following listed builds:
  
        SD*5.3*213   DG*5.3*489 
  
  
    1.  Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu
   
    2.  Review your mapped set.  If any of the routines listed in the
        ROUTINE SUMMARY section are mapped, they should be removed
        from the mapped set at this time
   
    3.  From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select
        the Installation menu
   
    4.  From this menu, you may elect to use the following options
        (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter SD*5.3*281):
          a.  Backup a Transport Global - this option will create a backup
              message of any routines exported with the patch.  It will NOT
              backup any other changes such as DDs or templates.
          b.  Compare Transport Global to Current System  - this option will
              allow you to view all changes that will be made when the patch
              is installed.  It compares all components of the patch
              (routines, DDs, templates, etc.).
          c.  Verify Checksums in Transport Global - this option will
              allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in
              the transport global.
   
    5.  Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package SD*5.3*281
   
    6.  When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install?
        YES??//',respond NO
   
    7.  When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and
        Protocols? YES//', respond YES, and disable the following option:
  
             SDPRLETTERS         PRINT SCHEDULING LETTERS
   
    8.  If routines were unmapped as part of step 2, they should be
        returned to the mapped set once the installation has run to
        completion
