This patch provides a routine used for the reporting of those documents that have been reassigned based on a user-specified date range. It will be attached to the Text Integration Utilities (MRT) [TIU MAIN MENU MRT]. The option is: Reassignment Document Report [TIU REASSIGNMENT REPORT]. Installation Instructions: ========================= This patch may be installed with users on the system. However, it should be installed at a non-peak time to minimize disruption to the users. Installation of this patch should take less than 1 minute. 1. Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the Packman Menu 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System (KIDS) Menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From the Installation menu, you may select to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter TIU*1.0*185): a. Backup a Transport Global b. Compare Transport Global to Current System c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package TIU*1.0*185. 5. When prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? YES//', respond YES 6. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? YES//', respond NO. 7. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? YES//', respond NO. Post install instructions: ========================= This report can be run using the new menu option, Reassignment Document Report [TIU REASSIGNMENT REPORT], on the Text Integration Utilities (MRT) [TIU MAIN MENU MRT], or directly from the programmer prompt by entering D EN^TIUPS185. When running the routine, the following recommendations are made: - Users may be on the system - The job should be queued to run during off-hours - The job should be run at a time that does not conflict with a system backup - Processing times for this task will vary considerably, depending on the load on your system and the number of entries processed in the TIU AUDIT TRAIL FILE (#8925.5). This routine should not be deleted after it is initially used. The report can be run as often as needed to track the occurrences of documents that have been reassigned. At the prompt, ENTER STARTING DATE: JAN 01, 2003//, enter the date you wish to begin the search (Default is Jan 01, 2003). At the prompt, ENTER ENDING DATE: Mar 31, 2004//, enter the date you wish to stop the search (Default is current date). At the prompt, DEVICE: HOME//, enter the output device you wish to display or print the report. You can QUEUE the report here to run at a later time.
