The ACL cross-reference is incorrect as it was only partially rebuilt in a former patch. The partial rebuild did not include the Abbreviation field. Therefore, you can not look up a document by the abbreviation in CPRS. 2. When using the TIU ALERT TOOL to search for Completed documents by Additional Signers, the tool does not recognize when a surrogate signed for the additional signer. This cause the alerts to be sent for documents that need no more action to be taken. A new menu option will also be included to allow users to mark documents that were signed prior to this patch as "Signed by Surrogate". The menu option is called Mark Document as 'Signed by Surrogate' and can be found under the TIU MAIN MENU MGR menu. Patch TIU*1.0*163 re-indexed the ACL cross reference based on the .01 field. This, however, excludes the additional entries into this cross reference when the .02 field is re-indexed. Therefore, the entries in this cross reference used to look up by the abbreviation are now missing. Resolution 1: ------------- Include a post install routine that will re-index the .02 field. (POST199^TIU199). Problem 2: ---------- Patch TIU*1.0*157 allows a surrogate to sign notes for a person who is listed as an Additional Signer. However, the TIU ALERT TOOL does not recognize that a surrogate has signed the note and will generate a new alert even though the note has been properly signed. Resolution 2: ------------- Create a field called SIGNED BY SURROGATE in the TIU MULTIPLE SIGNATURE file (8925.7) that will contain a 1 if the signer is a surrogate for the the Additional Signer at the time of the signature or a 0 if not. If the ACTUAL COSIGNER is different from the EXPECTED COSIGNER then the TIU ALERT TOOL can use this field to see if it was signed by a surrogate. This field will be set by a trigger on the ACTUAL COSIGNER field. NOTE: The SIGNED BY SURROGATE field can only be set in real time. There is no data stored whereby the system can determine its value at other times. Therefore, if you reindex the ACTUAL COSIGNER field you will lose the correct values for the SIGNED BY SURROGATE field.
