 This patch sends out the new CheckSum Utility CHECK1^XTSUMBLD, and the 
 new logic CheckSum: %^ZOSF("RSUM1").
  
 The new CheckSum, CHECK1^XTSUMBLD, is more accurate than the old 
 CheckSum utility.  The new logic CheckSum will support option [XU 
 CHECKSUM REPORT] slated to be released with Kernel Patch XU*8.0*369.
  
 The new CheckSum Utility fixes the problem of the old CheckSum giving
 the same CheckSum value even if some lines have been swapped around for a 
 routine.

 This option determines the current checksum of selected routine(s).
 The Checksum of the routine is determined as follows:
  
 1. Any comment line with a single semi-colon is presumed to be
    followed by comments and only the line tag will be included.
  
 2. Line 2 will be excluded from the count.
  
 3. The total value of the routine is determined (excluding
    exceptions noted above) by multiplying the ASCII value of each
    character by its position on the line and position of the line in 
    the routine being checked.

 EFFECT ON BLOOD BANK FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Patch XT*7.3*94 contains 
 changes to a package referenced in VHA OI SEPG SOP 192-023 Review of 
 VISTA Patches for Effects on VISTA Blood Bank Software. This patch does 
 not alter or modify any VistA Blood Bank software design safeguards or 
 safety critical elements functions.
  
 RISK ANALYSIS: Changes made by patch XT*7.3*94 have no effect on Blood 
 Bank software functionality, therefore RISK is none.
  
  
 Installation Instructions:
 ==========================
 1. Users ARE allowed to be on the system during the installation. 
    However, it is recommended that the patch be installed during
    non-peak time. It will take about a few seconds to install the
    patch, but you may queue the installation if you wish.
  
 2. DSM/AXP sites - Review your mapped routine set. If the routine
    in the ROUTINE SUMMARY section is mapped, disable mapping for
    the affected routine.
  
 3. You DO NOT need to stop TaskMan or the background filers.
  
 4. Use the 'INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE' option on the PackMan menu. This      
    option will load the KIDS package onto your system.
  
 5. The patch has now been loaded into a Transport global on your system. 
    You now need to use KIDS to install the Transport global. On the KIDS
    menu, under the 'Installation' menu, use the following options:
  
                 Verify Checksums in Transport Global
                 Print Transport Global
                 Compare Transport Global to Current System
                 Backup a Transport Global
  
    On the KIDS menu, under the 'Installation' menu, use the following
    option:
