COMPONENT/ENTRY POINT
COMPONENT/ENTRY POINT COMPONENT DESCRIPTION VARIABLES
EN(ORKY,ORKDFN,ORKA,ORKMODE,OROIL,ORDODSG)
This entry point returns any order checks found in
the order check array specified for the patient and orders checked.
VARIABLES TYPE VARIABLES DESCRIPTION
ORKY Both
Array of returned messages (order checks found) in
the following format: ORDER NUMBER^ORDER CHECK IEN^CLINICAL DANGER^MESSAGE
ORKDFN Input
Patient DFN
ORKA Input
Array of orderable items to check. This array is
built using the BLD^ORCHECK API. See DBIA #4134.
ORKMODE Input
Determines the mode of order checking. Set this
variable to either DISPLAY, SELECT, ACCEPT, SESSION, ALL, or NOTIF. Adverse
reaction tracking will set this variable to "ACCEPT" because adverse reaction
tracking checks are of this type. See the order checking documentation for a
complete description of the different modes.
OROIL Input
Array of order information to check. For adverse
reaction tracking, this variable is set to null as the orderable items to
check are passed in the ORKA parameter.
ORDODSG Both
Determines whether to perform pharmacy dosage checks.
The caller must pass this variable in by reference. Adverse reaction tracking
will set this variable to 0 to disable dosage checking since adverse reaction
tracking checks are not concerned with medication dosages. Since only one
call is made to this API per patient, the caller may safely ignore the
returned value.
