GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
This ICR is created to satisfy the needs of the VIA
project which is tasked to replace MDWS services, where MDWS was referencing
this RPC without an approved ICR.

A new OR*3*392 patch will be distributed that turns on this RPC's flag - APP
PROXY ENABLED. The OR*3*392 patch is associated with the VIAB*1*1 patch.

This RPC attempts to lock a specific order, returning a single value.

VISTA INTEGRATION ADAPTOR 
VIA will use this RPC in the VIAB*1*1 patch. One of the
charges to the VIA project is exposing RPCs and creating ICRs for those RPCs
that are already in use by the MDWS infrastructure. VIA provides a Class I
product of services that work with VistaLink, replacing the need for
developers to use MDWS services.  The OR*3*392 patch is associated with the
VIAB*1*1 patch.

VIA will use this RPC in the VIAB*1*5 patch. One of the charges to the VIA
project is exposing RPCs and creating ICRs for those RPCs that are already in

services.  The OR*3*426 patch is associated with the VIAB*1*5 patch and turns
on the APP PROXY ENABLED flag.

FBCS is using this RPC to lock a consult order.
DSIF*3.2*29 contains FBCS Consult Bidirectional processing.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - SALESFORCE 
Added 10/31/23, effective with CRMS*1*1, the VA Health
Connect (VAHC) application is a Salesforce product sharing the CRMS
namespace.The CRMS VAHC Remote Application includes the CRMS VAHC Option,
which includes required RPCs.  ORWDX LOCK ORDER is one of the Remote
Procedures included in the CRMS VAHC Option.  The Remote Application uses Data
Access Services/National Health Information Network (DAS/NHIN) as the
middleware to interface with VistA.
